About ONIQ

ONIQ is building a new software category for the next generation of manufacturing operations. Our platform helps industrial companies understand what is happening across their production processes, uncover where efficiency is lost and act on the opportunities that matter most.

We bring together manufacturing expertise, advanced software and AI to help teams improve production at scale. The goal is to make production more efficient, more resilient and more sustainable, and to help teams make better decisions where they matter most.

We are a highly motivated team with a strong sense of ownership and passion for what we do. Our entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to innovation have enabled us to grow fast and help shape the future of manufacturing with cutting-edge software. At ONIQ, culture is just as important as product. We foster an environment rooted in authenticity, diversity, integrity, and mutual respect, where everyone is encouraged to bring their whole self to work.

What you will do

You will independently manage multiple customer projects with international top-tier manufacturing companies and take ownership of converting them from pilot engagements into long-term SaaS partnerships. You will be a key driver in bringing the ONIQ software into real-world operations - delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and sustainability for our customers.

Your focus will be on maximizing and clearly demonstrating the value the ONIQ software creates for our customers. You will ensure the successful implementation of the ONIQ software and demonstrate its long-term impact by highlighting its strategic importance and embedding it into day-to-day operations – helping our customers build future-proof, lean and sustainable manufacturing operations.

You will work cross-functionally within ONIQ to maximize customer impact and play a key part in ONIQ’s overall success. You will:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of customer projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, staying close to key stakeholders and ensuring that project objectives are met, enabling customers to continuously use the ONIQ software

  • Own the customer relationship throughout the entire customer journey - from first touchpoints through the pilot phase to roll-out and live operation

  • Draw on your in-depth expertise in production processes and Lean Manufacturing, combined with a clear understanding of the customer’s pain points to identify how the ONIQ software can become a major value driver for the customer

  • Contribute to ONIQ’s product strategy by actively gathering customer feedback and requirements ensuring our solution remains responsive to customer needs and market trends

What we expect from you

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and the motivation to take ownership, move things forward and help shape a fast-growing industrial tech company

  • Genuine drive to create visible impact in manufacturing and to help industrial companies work more efficiently, sustainably and intelligently

  • Hands-on, pragmatic working style and the ability to make progress in a fast-moving, agile environment where priorities can evolve and not every path is predefined

  • Strong customer focus and the ambition to create measurable value for both our customers and ONIQ

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and work confidently with different stakeholders, from operational teams to senior decision-makers

  • Clear, confident communication style and the ability to explain complex topics in a practical, customer-oriented way

  • Ability to quickly understand customer challenges in production and translate them into clear, value-creating use cases

  • Relevant experience in production management, lean manufacturing, operational excellence, industrial engineering, operations consulting, or a similar production-related environment

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related field

  • Excellent language skills in English and German (C1 level)

  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, workshops or industry events, typically around 2-4 on-site meetings per month

  • Motivation to spend time with the team in person. We value the energy that comes from working together at our Cologne or Berlin office, so one on-site day per week is the minimum

What we offer

  • A culture built on transparency, integrity and authenticity – we trust and respect each other and make decisions based on competence

  • A fast-paced, agile environment where you can take on as much responsibility as you feel ready for and actively shape our marketing and go-to-market

  • A team that genuinely cares about collaboration and work culture: we regularly reflect on our teamwork, invest work time into team spirit and consciously create balance in everyday work

  • The opportunity to contribute to fighting climate change by helping industrial manufacturers to become more efficient and to reduce their CO₂ emissions, while we are mindful of our own environmental impact as a carbon-neutral company

  • All the benefits that make work more pleasant: flexible hours, part-time options, remote work options, regular team events and offsites, 30 days PTO, weekly yoga sessions, Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club and more
