What you will do

You will work closely with our Customer Success and Product Development teams to help manufacturing companies bring their data into IQA, our SaaS solution for digital lean management. As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for the preparation, validation and integration of customer data. You will play a crucial role in making customer data come alive in IQA and helping manufacturers run more efficiently than ever before. Your tasks include:

  • Analyzing, understanding, and processing manufacturing process data from our customers to enable a smooth onboarding experience
  • Developing robust data processing pipelines and workflows that enable fast, efficient, and reliable onboarding and continuous data integration for our customers
  • Creating customer value by exploring customer usage patterns to help improve our software and ensure IQA delivers measurable impact
  • Being the link between data and people by engaging directly with customers to gather data, understand requirements, and plan for ongoing data ingestion and integration
  • Simulating manufacturing processes to generate synthetic datasets for demos, testing, and validation of new IQA features
What we expect from you
  • Strong Python skills, including experience with data science and scientific computing libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, simPy) 
  • Solid background in data analysis, processing and transformation as well as familarity with databases and building data pipelines. Knowledge of ERP systems or IIoT platforms is a plus
  • A genuine enthusiasm for driving the digital transformation of manufacturing and contributing to more sustainable production through innovative solutions like IQA
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership
  • Willingness to travel occasionaly for customer meetings and workshops
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning or related technical fields
  • Excellent language skills (English and German C1)
  • Some knowledge of manufacturing processes is a bonus
  • If you choose to work remotely: Residence within Germany and willing to travel to Cologne (by train) from time to time for in-person workshops or team events
